Carry forward Olympic spirit and Giant Panda Culture, share Chinese stories on the international art stage, convey Chinese voice, and promote international cultural communication. The famous panda painter, Sichuan Provincial Committee member, national first-class artist Wu Changjiang gathered elements about the Winter Olympics and cleverly blended the panda figure with winter sports, creating a new multinational concept, category, and description that depict a faster, higher, and stronger Winter Olympic Spirit to actively promote the self-expressional and dream-chasing winter sports.

Among Wu’s twelve snow panda works, each represents a sport of the Winter Olympics. When giant pandas ski, ice-skate, slide curling, play ice hockey, and do other activities, the level of their adorability skyrocketed. Some art critics said that these works will explain and promote a more excellent culture that contains Chinese traits, demonstrates Chinese spirit, and holds Chinese intelligence, creating a trustable, loveable, and respectable Chinese image. “In the recent years, Mr. Wu Changjiang’s giant panda works have been recognized as a special cultural symbol, evoking an emotional empathy around the world.

Giant pandas are the national treasure of China, how to use panda culture as a carrier, art as a method to embody tradition and reality and to disclose the spiritual connotation of pandas in this new generation is a new challenge, exploration, and vision on Wu Changjiang’s road of art. Wu told the reporter: “This is the opportunity of making these works, I used the Olympic spirit and panda culture as links to add beautiful colors of humanities while pushing forward winter sports with the power of art.”
